The Program

The subject of the Master’s Program entitled “Ancient Texts and Contemporary Readings” of the Department of Philology at the University of Ioannina is the advancement of knowledge and research in the field of Classical Philology, specifically in: (a) Ancient Greek Philology, (b) Latin Philology, (c) related recognized specializations (Mythology – Religion, Palaeography – History and Textual Criticism – Editing of Ancient Greek and/or Latin texts, Papyrology, Mycenaean Philology, Special and General Didactics of Classical Philology courses, Ancient Greek and/or Roman Theatre, Reception of Ancient Greek and/or Latin Literature, Medieval Latin Literature, Neo-Latin Literature, Gender Approaches to Ancient Greek and/or Latin Literature, and Digital Applications in Classical Philology).
