Program Administration

According to Article 3 of the Regulations of Postgraduate Programs at the University of Ioannina (Government Gazette B’ 4942/07.08.2023), the following bodies are responsible for the establishment, organization, and operation of the Master’s Program:

(a) The Institution’s Postgraduate Studies Committee

(b) The Senate

(c) The Department’s General Assembly

(d) The Coordinating Committee

(e) The Director of the Master’s Program

(f) The Master’s Program Secretariat

  • The Postgraduate Studies Committee is established by a decision of the Senate following a proposal from the Deans of the University’s Schools. It consists of one (1) faculty member (Teaching and Research Staff) from each School, one (1) member from among the categories of Special Teaching Staff, Laboratory Teaching Staff, and Special Technical Laboratory Staff of the University, and the Vice-Rector responsible for academic affairs, who serves as Chair.
  • The members of the Committee have experience in organizing and participating in second-cycle (Master’s level) study programs.
  • Η θητεία της Επιτροπής είναι δύο (2) ακαδημαϊκά έτη. Aσκεί τις αρμοδιότητες που ορίζονται στην παρ. 1 του άρθρου 3 του Κανονισμού Προγραμμάτων Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων (ΦΕΚ Τεύχος B’ 4942/07.08.2023).
