Study Guide

- Courses are conducted in the form of seminar-style lectures with mandatory attendance for students and are classified as compulsory (C) or elective-compulsory (EC) courses.
- Students are required to take a total of five courses in the first two semesters: one compulsory (C) and four elective-compulsory (EC) courses.
- In the first semester, students must attend and successfully complete two (2) courses, of which one (1) is compulsory (C) and one (1) is elective-compulsory (EC).
- In the second semester, students must attend and successfully complete three (3) elective-compulsory (EC) courses.
- Courses may be moved between semesters if approved by the Department Assembly.
- The Department Assembly validates the curriculum of the Master’s Program.
- The compulsory course (C) carries twenty (20) ECTS credits (10 ECTS for lectures and 10 ECTS for practical exercises), while each elective-compulsory course (EC) carries ten (10) ECTS credits.
- Students must successfully complete the five (5) courses, totaling 60 ECTS credits, before submitting at the beginning of the third (3rd) semester a request to undertake the Master’s Thesis, which corresponds to thirty (30) ECTS credits.
- To ensure the offering of all elective-compulsory (EC) courses, the minimum enrollment is set at two (2) students and the maximum at five (5) students.
